Encourage people to bring and use their journals each week.
Offer the Prayer Ministry Team.
Assure people that growth is always a process –and to engage as fully as they can – journaling every step they experience.
Why the iceberg?
Only 10 % of an iceberg actually shows above the water. The remaining 90% is hidden.
As the boundaries of science explore deeper and deeper into outer space, the irony is that as human beings we do not apply similar skills to our personal inner space.
Many of us in the church go years in our Christian lives without ever seriously looking inside at our inner lives.
At our motives
At our emotions
At our deepest longings and regrets
At our formative experiences.

Abigail saves David from taking REVENGE
She invites him to move forward into the FUTURE DYNASTY of the LORD v.28
Abigail tells David that he is safe in “the bundle of the living” (v29 NIV).
This is the Lord’s treasure pouch. Hebrew = ‘pouch’ or ‘purse’
David is bound securely into the PROMISES of GOD against any foe or enemy..
And this bundle of God is ALIVE – fresh and vibrant.
What an encouragement for someone in fear of their life and future!!

1. SILENCE –
In order to become aware of God.
2. FEAR GOD
In reverence for His mercy
3. BE TRAINED UNDER THE EPHOD
And learn the power of intercession
4. GO TO YOUR 'KERITH'
And seek God's glory & blessing
5. SURRENDER
And be wrapped in the bundle of the living God.

Is very submissive.
Her surrender covers great offences.
She puts herself in the place of someone saying “sorry”
Asking for mercy
She could not excuse her husband's conduct.
She depends on God's grace,

Exercise:
Return yourself to Jesus.
Ask God to take possession of you, by His Spirit.
Surrender your cares, worries, love, feelings and emotions
Surrender your whole personality to God.
