Exchange information on climate change impacts knowledge (strengthen the Science/Policy link)
Exchange information on approaches, methodologies, tools etc for incorporating climate change in river basin management
Coordinate CIS related activities to climate change
Follow the further water-related EU activities on Climate Change Adaptation (follow-up of White Paper)

3. Current planning
1st Stakeholder meeting for DG ENV lead project on ‘climate change adaptation - modelling water scenarios and sectoral impacts’ will take place in Brussels in June 2010
Stakeholders will overlap with EG on CC&Water
Back-to-back meeting is proposed, exact date still to be decided
Indicative list of workshop themes will be prepared, based on:
Input from MS and EEA
First experiences with 2009 guidance
Examples in 2009 guidance
June meeting:
discussion on workshops themes
preparation of proposal to SCG,
exchange of information on water - adaptation initiatives
