-scab forms

4. 3. Blood clot replaced w/ Granulation tissue
-phagocytes remove clot
-regeneration of epithelium under scab
-new capillaries to restore blood flow

-surface epithelium identical to original tissue
-scar tissue
-no visibility of scar
OR Fibrosis
-collagen replaces original cells
-visibility of scar
-loss of function

6. Tissues/Regeneration
EASY- Epithelium-adipose, bone, smooth muscle
POOR-Skeletal muscle, cartilage
NONE/ SCAR TX- Cardiac muscle, neurons
