The tree was inferred from approximately maximum likelihood approach with FastTree v Branch support values are noted on each branch, and branches are colored by phylum or class as follows: yellow, Actinobacteria; red, Bacteroidetes; green, Firmicutes; dark blue, Alphaproteobacteria; blue, Betaproteobacteria; light blue, Gammaproteobacteria. The isolation compartment is noted with color strip as indicated: black, rhizosphere isolate; gray, endosphere isolate.
