The Constitution lists 3 qualifications presidential candidates must meet:
Be a native born U.S. citizen
Be at least 35 years old
Have been a resident of the U.S. for at least 14 years

President Franklin D. Roosevelt served 4 terms
The Twenty-second Amendment (passed in 1951) set the two-term limit
