Challenges of the SRO Program
Clearly defining roles and responsibilities. The SRO’s role is NOT to be a school disciplinarian. Educating students on SRO purpose and presence. Ability to address multiple incidents at various buildings simultaneously. Allocating time for SRO to meet and talk with staff.
