Students will begin to explore character traits as we move into our new reading unit in T.C. The students will analyze characters and use text evidence to help support their claims. We will use our own reading selections and class discussions to help strengthen these skills. Also, we will enjoy our new read aloud Charlotte’s

Science
In Science, students will become engineers as they create wheel and axle structures to investigate motion. The students will
build various twirly birds
to help
understand
gravity and
motion.
Math News
Writing:
Students will begin to learn about area and perimeter. In this unit, we will discuss geometry and measurement. Continue to practice your multiplication facts daily. Please use your flashcards, games, and log on to Dream Box to help strengthen math skills each day!
Use our fun clues to help remember those tricky facts!
The students will begin to learn how to write an L.A.T. (Literary Analysis Task). We will continue to use our binders, notes, and Chromebooks to help publish final drafts.
