Lesson Topic(s): Rotations/ELPs Second Grade Week of: 2/25-3/01 TEKS:2.3b questions, 2.3C reread, 2.5B context for meaning, 2.14C sequencing, 2.3A predictions, 2.15A directions ELPS: C4G increased comprehension, C4I demonstrate skills such as summarizing, , Essential Question: Word Work Spelling Word Work Reading Read to Self/Partner Word Work Grammar Guided Reading/Writing Plan Students will work on spelling sort using patterns from our phonics. Students will use spelling words in sentences. Students will practice reading skills that go along with the mini lesson that week. Students will practice using vocabulary words in different situations. Using a book of their choosing students will read and respond with a partner. Students will use a writing convention in practice. It could be in journals or to turn it. Students will work on the grammar convention for the week. Meet with the teacher. Using a text I provide, they will practice comprehension skills.
