Celebrations All celebration food sent to school must be commercially prepared and sent to school unopened No balloons, gifts, etc. can be sent to the child at school Invitations- outlined in handbook-WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SEND INVITATIONS HOME UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!
14
Snack Your child can bring a “healthy” snack to have mid-morning.
If your child brings his/her lunch, please pack an extra “healthy” snack. We will not allow: cookies, chips, pop-tarts, etc.. Your child does not need to bring a drink for snack.
15
Lunch Boxes Please make sure your child can easily open any food/drinks included in their lunchbox. Please be mindful of too many choices. The result is a lot of food being wasted. Please send in a plastic grocery type bag in the lunchbox for your child to use to easily combine all their trash into one bag to help with cleaning up.
16
Breakfast at School If your child is supposed to eat breakfast at school, please make sure he/she knows and give them a reminder as they leave. If your child eats breakfast at school they need to arrive early enough to have time to go through the line and eat- a good rule of thumb is have them arrive no later than 7:30.
17
INDEPENDENCE It is very important that your child become independent and responsible. Our goal is to work with you in developing your child to become independent and responsible.
18
