5 Sabbath Day Sabbath (6 pm Fri – 6 pm Sat)
Body rests on the Sabbath (6 pm Friday through 6 pm Saturday High “Sabbath” – Sabbath/Passover Jewish leaders seek a guard on the Sabbath

6 Resurrection Day Early Sunday morning Jesus rose prior to Sunrise
Sunrise women went to the tomb

7 Does it matter? “If there is no resurrection our preaching is useless and so is your faith” – 1 Cor 15:14 “. . . we [apostles] are false witnesses” – v 15 “ your faith is futile, you are still in your sins” – v 17

8 Does it matter? “we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed – in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised. . .” – 1 Cor 15:51-52
