Kaplan–Meier survival curves for different categories of age groups (a), sex (b), Salmonella isolation source (c) and Salmonella serotypes (d) for patients with Salmonella illnesses, Israel 1997–2006. The patients were followed from 1 January 1997 until 18 October 2007, giving a total of 10.8 years. The results of log-rank tests were as follows: p <0.001 for differences between the age groups, p 0.14 for the differences between the two sex categories, p <0.001 for the differences between the two source categories, and p 0.57 for the overall differences between the serotype categories.
