The patients were followed from 1 January 1997 until 18 October 2007, giving a total of 10.8 years. The results of log-rank tests were as follows: p <0.001 for differences between the age groups, p 0.14 for the differences between the two sex categories, p <0.001 for the differences between the two source categories, and p 0.57 for the overall differences between the serotype categories.
