One Week, One Checklist, Infinite Happiness
The Great Kindness Challenge is a proactive initiative that improves school climate and increases student engagement. The Great Kindness Challenge is one week devoted to performing as many acts of kindness as possible on campus. Using the provided checklist of 50 kind acts, students accept the challenge and show the world that KINDNESS MATTERS!

3. Objective
Students will learn about how acts of kindness, even on the smallest scale, can trigger and inspire larger acts. How a small single act of being kind creates ripples of kindness that are carried out into our world.

4. SEL Weekly Shout-out
Mrs. Stafford’s class doing Yoga during Wednesday SEL time.
Deep breathing & yoga is great tool for self-regulation.
Yoga helps calm the fight or flight response, and induce the relaxation response, thus helping children calm themselves down and be less reactive in difficult situations.

Get a checklist from your teacher
Perform as many kind acts as you can in one week.
Use the checklist to check off the acts as you go
Turn into your 1st period teacher on Friday
Your house will receive one point for each 5 acts of kindness completed.

The 2019 Kind Coins for Liberia Campaign is a unifying service project to help build a health clinic in Paynesville, Liberia.
All Great Kindness Challenge students, families, and communities are whole-heartedly invited to participate.
Coins will be collected in 1st period
1st period that collects most money will receive DONUTS
Contest will end February 8th
