Cartoonists use a blend of art, for story telling, and social commentary, many cartoonists work independently, developing their own ideas for cartoons or comics, using ink, pencil, charcoal, paint, or computer. Using cartoons to create caricatures, single comics, and serial comic strips for the newspaper and comic books as well. Their also seen in greeting cards, advertisements, magazines, trade journals, calendars, graphic novels, and also manga. These jobs functions are part of a team effort to produce these comic strips, or books. An inker adds dimension to an illustration. There are back round artists inkers, penciler, colorist or letterer, and these were a few of the cartoonist jobs.

7 A famous person and why they are famous
Charles M. Schulz, he was nicknamed Sparky, he was a American cartoonist, best thing he was known for was the comic strip “Peanuts.” He is widely regarded as one of the most influential cartoonists of all time. The best known Peanuts related cartoon he made was the Peanuts Christmas special, the people who were going to show the cartoon back when it originally showed on TV thought it was awful, but they didn’t have any time to change, or redo it so they showed it how it was, and tons of people enjoyed it, and over the years it became a classic we often watch.

8 My reaction to what I learned during research.
Well, personally the research help show me what I will need for trying to be a cartoonist, when I was originally thinking of being a cartoonist I was thinking a animator or maybe comic book artist, and I would make characters, stories, and all of that stuff, why I wanted to be a animator/cartoonist is because I have tons of ideas for stories every day and it would be nice to bring one to the public eye.
