5. Example of Action after Formative Feedback
“Plan, enact, and monitor cross-site PLCs.”
“Incorporate staff needs into year 2 PD planning.”
“Strategize ways to align OST training with that of school in year 2, given the unique OST structure in Boston.”
In year 2, schedule cross-site PLCs early. Share the schedule and objectives. We’ve now had two!
One of the top two topics staff listed a need for additional PD was strategies to adapt SEL practices for students from different cultures or students with different learning needs. We have two PD opportunities coming up: Case Study of SEL and Dyslexia on Feb 1st at District Hall, and a Tier 1 Training for Restorative Practices. School and OST staff are also both invited to a variety of PD led by BPS on integrating. CLSP/SEL
Work in progress on combined PD but we’ve worked it into today and the coaches and I have been working together to help this progress.
