2. Clambering out of the boat , I trudged through the sand
Clambering out of the boat , I trudged through the sand . Shivering with fear , I saw my fellow soldiers run ahead Beside me all I saw was bombs exploding . Will I survive ? GAS ,gas ! Quick boys, masks on ! ”shouted the leader at the back . All I saw was a green sea full of poison . My legs were aching : walking for hours .The sand was filled with blood my friends were hardly alive and bullets were shooting into my comrade – would I have died?
