Medium-term : Possible changes to list of variables (for discussion working group) Violent crime Violence against person ( rename ‘assault’ as in UNODC and Sourcebook) Robbery (= ‘robbery’ in UNODC and Sourcebook and Eurostat) Sexual offences rape (= ‘rape’ in UNODC and Sourcebook) other sexual offences Theft, total (new, = as in UNODC and Sourcebook) Theft of a motor vehicle Burglary Domestic burglary Drug offences (new = as in Sourcebook) Drug trafficking Other drug-related offences (possession etc. as in UNODC and Sourcebook) 1
