3. Points of Pride for 2018-19 French Honor Society Interact
Students have completed volunteer translation work for an international non-profit organization called The Grandmother Project (
Interact
Annual donut sales have enabled group to fund 2 Shelter Boxes (for catastrophic event response) in the last 3 years (each box costing $1,000)
One “All-Hands-On-Deck” activity per month (Smile Bags, Code Blue Collection, Sandwiches for Homeless, Gingerbread Houses for Nursing Homes, Cookies for the Shelter, Baking Roxy Dog Cookies)

6 CBW murals last year; more to come this year (at least 3)
60 students applied to the Scholastic Art and Writing Content (TBD)
NAHS won Honorable Mention at CB Cares Pumpkinfest
Jillian Harvan won district Boomerang Award for Creative Activities
NAHS planned a Kindness Initiative: painting inspirational quotes in C-hall Girls’ RR
Cooking for the Homeless
Prepare frozen meals (soups, muffins, holiday cookies, etc.) for the Hucks County Housing Group Pantry; officers deliver so that they can learn more about pantry and the people they support

Performed for Bucks County IU Student Leadership Day at CB West
Featured performers at Dr. Kopicki’s Celebration of our Schools and March Board Mtg
Continue to perform before Bucks County Symphony Orchestra concerts.
Ski and Board Club
110 members this season
Extremely affordable way for students to participate in a very expensive winter sport
Supported by teachers and parents who create positive relationships with students outside of school

New club – created by 2 students who organize and run each meeting.
Robust student-created website: club/home (competitions, lessons, resources, etc.)
Guest speakers from local business owners about their own business ventures
Entrepreneurship Competitions (Diamond Challenge at University of Delaware)
Rise Against Hunger Club
October 16, 2018 – participated in breaking the Guiness World Record for “Most People Assembling Hunger Relief Packages Simultaneously.” West students packaged nearly 1,000 meals in 5 minutes!
