AND NOW, HERE IS THE HOST OF JEOPARDY...
COOL SCHOOL EDITION Notes for teacher. Until PowerPoint has a MERGE feature from databases or spreadsheets, you must go through this document and replace everything that contains [ ] brackets around them. This includes the Categories at the top of all pages, the Questions, and Answers. Sorry about that! For fastest results, use CTRL+H to Find and Replace all Category markers. For instance, press Ctrl+H. Type [Category 1] on the FIND line. Then type the real name of your first category (Math Maniacs) on the REPLACE line. Click ‘Replace All,’ and you‘ve got it! You’ll just have to type the short versions of those Categories on Slide 4 Game Board. (more) Finally, THE DAILY DOUBLE can move each time you play. You just have to copy and paste it on another question and remove the Dollar amount for that question. You’ll have to add a dollar amount for the old daily double question. You also have to make sure the animations are set for the location of the DD. That’s it! Enjoy. AND NOW, HERE IS THE HOST OF JEOPARDY...
2
HOW THE GAME WORKS THERE ARE THREE TEAMS… CONTROL OF THE BOARD IS DETERMINED BY SUBMITTING CORRECT ANSWERS. ONE PLAYER FROM EACH TEAM WILL ROTATE TO THE CONTESTANT SEAT AFTER EACH QUESTION AND BE THE LEAD SPEAKER FOR THAT ROUND. THIS PERSON IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN “BUZZ IN.” REMEMBER, ANSWERS MUST BE IN THE FORM OF A QUESTION… IF YOU FAIL TO DO SO, YOU WILL BE WARNED ONCE; AFTER THAT, THE ANSWER WILL BE WRONG. TEAMS MAY GIVE THE LEADER THE ANSWER BUT CALLING OUT WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. TEAMS CAN DISCUSS AN ANSWER FOR 20 SECONDS AFTER THEY “BUZZ” IN. IF THEY GET THE QUESTION WRONG, CALL OUT, OR DO NOT ANSWER IN TIME, THEY WILL LOSE THE AMOUNT OF MONEY AT WHICH THE QUESTION WAS VALUED. GOOD LUCK.
