1910 — The first practical seaplane is flown.
Built and flown by American Glenn Curtiss, it lands and takes off in the waters off San Diego, California.

1951 — First flight of the USN's Douglas D “Skyrocket” supersonic research aircraft is made.
It is launched from underneath its USN's Boeing P2B-1 (B-29) “Superfortress” mother-ship and exceeds Mach 1 in a dive.

1957 — The last operational North American P-51 “Mustang” fighter was retired to the National Museum of the United States Air Force, WPAFB, Dayton, Ohio.

Lessons 1 – 7 (Straight & Level Flight through First Solo)
Must pass written with 80%
Successfully complete 3 times on small sim
Successfully complete 1 time on Main sim
Complete ERAU Aviation 101
6 quizzes and 2 tests
Student will receive zero points for all incomplete work – NO make-up / extra credit
