Team Members Name, Title, Agency Slide 4 – Presenter (Karen Staha) Hello everyone and thank you for jointing our webcast! I’m a Karen Staha, Director of the Division of Strategic Planning and Performance, Employment and Training Administration of the Department of Labor. Now, let me introduce the State Cohort on the Effectiveness in Serving Employers – Shared Outcomes. This State Cohort brings together five State teams that will proactively explore the opportunities and challenges in establishing this primary indicator, and piloting different approaches for measuring it. Comprised of at least one representative from workforce, adult education and vocational rehabilitation, these State teams will also engage in a unique peer sharing and learning experience. At the conclusion of these sessions on the Effectiveness in Serving Employers – Shared Outcomes, the Departments will present the promising practices and new approaches for measuring this indicator developed by the State Cohort team. We need a measure that is broad and flexible enough to cover the wide variation in workforce, adult education and vocational rehabilitation professionals’ experience in working with employers and types and levels of services. So, join us in designing and implementing an indicator that not only measures performance, but also yields useful information about the services provided, and offers benchmarks for each program area to engage in a deeper and richer relationship with business partners!
