Roundtable in Poland 2006 GOALS:
To know each other better - what it is practically temporary staffing To build confidence between social partners To promote ethical practices of temporary work To build a durable social dialogue based on partnership DEBATE: Trade unions,TAW and user companies experience Legal context: what should be ameliorated in the law How to fight together against bad practices The role of temporary staffing in modern economy and in labour market JOINT DECLARATION: „The social partners declare their readiness to enter into a productive dialogue concerning the proper development of temporary work in Poland. Such dialogue should lead first of all to: 1. Improvement of work and employment conditions of temporary workers according to the equal treatment principle guaranteed by the 2003 Act on Employing Temporary Workers 2. Organization of the Polish market of temporary work in the way that will support activities of temporary work agencies that obey the law and elimination of these agencies that do not respect regulations concerning temporary workers.”
