How do they change? Our mental health is in a constant state of change – sometimes we feel good and sometimes we feel low. We call this riding the ups and downs – this is normal.

When we connect with somebody we are forming a relationship
When we connect with somebody we are forming a relationship. The best relationships make us feel safe and happy – we call these healthy relationships. Healthy relationships are important for our wellbeing. That is why it feels good to have friends.

Whole School Challenge
Getting to Know You Ask children at playtime or back in class about these statements. Use them as a conversation starter by asking the other person ‘tell me more’.
