5 District Grants Global Grants The Grant Model
PDG Phil Armstrong is our District Grants Chair, and it is he and his Committee that manage the Grants allocations for District Grants, together of course with the District Governor of the day. He will explain more about the Grants model when he addresses you. Rob Woolley is the Global Grants Chair

6 Areas of Focus Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution
Disease Prevention and Treatment Water and Sanitation Maternal and Child Health Basic Education and Literacy Economic and Community Development You have heard much of the 6 areas of focus that the Foundation and its advisors have agreed upon. They all address acute needs and anything we do will make the world a better place. For a Club to be able to access Global Grant Funds it must qualify with the Rotary Foundation by completing a Club MOU

8 The Permanent/Endowment Fund
Funding Foundation programs since 1982. Contributions are NOT spent, but invested in perpetuity. A portion of the earnings are used annually to support Foundation Programs. I like this Fund as the money actually donated is never spent, that means if you become a Rotary Benefactor, you have heard me refer to that as the Final door knock, and you designate it to this fund, then you will know that the money you leave behind will keep on making a difference in the world long after you have departed this world.

All except Permanent Fund & Disaster Recovery accrue PHF Recognition points All are Tax deductible except Permanent Fund & Disaster Recovery if given via TARFT

13 Ways to give – Club Multiple Donor Form
Club lists member & member ID on form Member gives to Club Club sends form and one cheque Each member receives a tax receipt Give via your Club Some Clubs are taking $2.00 of the Dinner fee every week and saving it up and sending these funds into the Foundation periodically which results in some Clubs having all Members as Centurions.
