The session will highlight the six FAR conventions that acquisition professionals must be able to "read in" to guidance contained within the FAR System (the FAR and its supplements). These conventions can serve as anchor points when it comes to responsibilities of acquisition team members, what a particular word or phrase means, when a new rule applies, as well as what the dollar amounts detailed within the FAR system actually include.
