Located in Wellsville, New York Since 1923
Company History:
1925: Air Preheater Corporation was Founded.
1933: Sold to Superheater Company of America
1948: Superheater Company Merged with Combustion Engineering, Inc., to form Combustion Engineering Superheater, Inc.
1953: Became Combustion Engineering, Inc.
1977: Brazil subsidiary company formed, now called Alstom Air Preheater Equipamentos.
1981: An Agreement for Manufacturing and Engineering Technology for Ljungstrom Utility-Sized Air Preheaters Was Signed With the People’s Republic of China.
1990: ABB Asea Brown Boveri Ltd. Acquired Combustion Engineering, Inc.
