An Universal Controller for Projector and Screen which is developed with the objectives of:

4. CP9 Features Function Programmable key pad Screen Control Software
CP-9 is a versatile programmable Universal Projector and Electric Screen controller. Moreover, it control any display devices with RS232 controlling.
Programmable key pad
PC-9 consist of 9 buttons, with 521 bytes Command Buffer. All the buttons can be individually program to control the Screen or Projector
Screen Control
There is a pair of relays that can be programmed to control Electric screens. It control all types of Electric type screen : ‘Trigger ’ type or ‘Power’ type Electric Screens.
Software
PC-9 is come with user friendly configuration software for the User to assign function of the individual key.
Command
Keys can be configured to send RS232 command or Screen Control Relay command. Multi RS232 and/or Screen Relay command can be configured to a single key to form as a Macro command group
Relay Option
Screen Relay can be configured as two individual Relays for controlling (power) switching when they are not configured to control the Screen Up or Down
Single key press for switch on/ off projector
The CP9 can be programmed to switch off the projector and followed by cutting off the main power after a preset time. This will eliminate unnecessary standby mode time and extend the projector life time

5. CP9 Benefit One key Power off Extend the life time of a projector
Normally, a projector need to turn off the lamp first, cooling down, go to Standby Mode and follow with switch off the Main Power Supply. It should only switch off the Main Power Supply in Standby Mode.
With the CP9, Power off Lamp, cooling down, Standby Mode and power off Main Power Supply is now possible within one touch of button.
It will skip the attention to wait for a Standby Mode to switch of the main after the long cool down. A unnecessary long standby mode will affect the reliability of a projector
Extend the life time of a projector
Due to a complicated and long process of switch off a projector, most of case the projector will left in the Standby Mode. Unnecessary long standby mode will affect the reliability of a projector
CP9 made the complete power off a projector be more feasible and extend the life time of a Projector.

6. CP9 Software PC9 Software PC9 Files RS232 Input Format
- CP9 software is used to pre-program the CP9 hardware. It consist of two pop up Input Boxes.

- It accept either Text (ASCII) or HEX format for RS232 input
Groups of Command
- Each button has 10 groups of command with user definite delay in between
- Multiple commands is acceptable within a group
