2. Partnership of BEWAG in the European Project I-GENER8
Scope : Call Shift2Rail - OC-IP Intelligent freight wagon with predictive maintenance (Research and Innovation Action for Non-Joint Undertaking)
Goal of the call (combined transport and conventional transport wagons ):
Cargo condition monitoring technologies
Wagon design
Predictive Maintenance
Lead Partner : CERTH (The Centre for Research & Technology, Hellas).
Other partners : The other partners are the Bratislava University, Berlin University, Rome University (Batteries), Eureka (sensor development) and UIRR (BEWAG as Subcontractor).

3. Partnership of BEWAG in the European Project I-GENER8
Role of BEWAG:
BEWAG will be in charge of WP1 –
Description of User Requirements and conceptualization
BEWAG will have an active role in the WP5 –
elaboration of Business Cases and Exploitation Plan
Duration of the project is 36 months (as from 2017)
Status of the proposal: Under evaluation
Implementation of the project :
BEWAG will fully subcontract its tasks to IFB
net value ~50k€ or about 6 man month
