Goals of CBDPP 1) To enhance access to quality oral health care for low-income, underserved and uninsured persons living with HIV/AIDS in the 120 counties of Kentucky and 14 counties in southern Indiana (seven of the fourteen counties designated, along with Jefferson County, KY, as Emerging Communities) and; 2) To increase the number of dental providers capable of managing the needs of PLWH. x x x x

Continuing Education Community Practicing Dentists, Dental Hygienists, and Faculty receive education regarding HIV and Oral Health via AETC courses coordinated with the CBDPP. Case Managers at Care Coordinating Programs receive Oral Health Education via the CBDPP staff, as well as AETC courses coordinated with the CBDPP. x x x x

Improving Access to Care
CBDPP Care Coordinators travel to RW funded programs to educate the case managers, providers and other staff. We offer on site dental screenings at the 550 case management office weekly, and schedule screenings with other locations as time permits. x x x x

CEREC and In-Office Milling Machine Wave One Endodontics In-office bite guards Electronic Health Record Digital Radiography CBCT Services offered: diagnostic and preventive services, restorative services, onlays/crowns, root canals, bridges, extractions, pre-prosthetic surgery, dentures, partials, bite guards. x x x x
