Then, add “Reading Portfolio” to the front cover of the folder.
This reading portfolio will stay in class and you will use it almost every day.

Independent Reading
First, place your “Notes for Reading Independently” inside of your Reading Portfolio (folder).
Each day, you should:
Bring a book of your choice (on your Lexile level – No “Cat in the Hat”-types of books) from either the L.M.C. or our classroom library;
Expect to read for minutes a day;
Complete 1-2 boxes of this chart per day.
