Proposed modification (high level description):
Smart search box preserved
All search results and Advanced search feature in a new Tab dedicated to «search»

More space for additional features in the advanced Search
Higher visibility of search features (e.g. IPCCAT)
User interface design to be detailed with IPC users representatives

2018 retraining based on WIPO DELTA produced by IPCWLMS
IPCCAT is tuned to give better results a IPC sub-group level
Its precision could be tuned to give better precision at “easier” IPC levels e.g. if limited at subclass level only it would become 95.5% (instead of the 93.7% of the current IPCCAT)

Other observations:
Cross language classification allows better IPC coverage
Automatic translation through a commercial product is good enough for IPCCAT (does not need nice translated sentences)
Even better results can be expected if WIPO translate can be used for Automatic translation (and is free of charge for WIPO)

As per CE 50 decisions further proposal for changes in IPC definition Master files (additional structure elements)
Paragraphs in Synonyms and Keywords sub sections
Addition of bold, Italic and emphasis in Definition Statement, Largesubjects and special rules
Version 3.2 of specification and XSD see CE501 Annexes 5 and 6
