Webcast – Streamed games from all WCTV produced programmes and all 11 TSN produced round robin games on to Eurosport Player and mostly on to Curl TV site in Canada

Additional bronze medal game when Canada were involved – supplied by WCTV Webcast – streamed own TV games on to their site. Additional WCTV games went to Curl TV site

7 © World Curling Federation7 | Broadcasting Capital One World Mens Curling Championship - Cortina, Italy Broadcasting and Webcasting Eurosport Broadcast - WCTV TV feed – 20 hours including semi-final and final. English and German commentators on site in Cortina Webcast - Streamed games from all WCTV produced programmes and Live Channel (Sweden) producing additional games from most draws for streaming to Eurosport Player.

Additional bronze medal game supplied if Canada are involved – supplied by WCTV Webcast – streaming own TV games on to their site. Additional WCTV games involving Canada (one per day) are being delivered to TSN site, mostly produced by Live Channel but some TV quality pictures available from the WCTV television games.

11 © World Curling Federation11 | Broadcasting Additional news highlight packages are produced and distributed through EBU for use by broadcasters as required from both the Mens and Womens World Championships. Games being taken by largest Brazilian sports channel. Webcasting Minimum standard of all games will contain commentary. This is important for viewers. Games will be archived on WCF website. So far mens and womens finals from ECC 2009 in Aberdeen and the two finals from the World Junior Championships 2010 in Flims. Additional games from Flims will be archived shortly. From Swift Current and Cortina all the streamed games will be archived once they come off the Eurosport Player (usually two to three weeks after the event is finished).

Meetings planned with Eurosport – first one in May 2010 to attempt to improve what is shown on Eurosport and reliability of Eurosport Player. 2. Increased co-operation planned with TSN to achieve more effective use of production from both TSN and WCTV 3. Consideration of production standards for TV, specially having regard for new angles used in Vancouver Winter Olympics such as mini boom – great pictures
