We aim to develop efficient method toward unsymmetrically substituted PDIs and unsymmetrically tune -stacks in solid PDIs.
Two approaches have been developed in this purpose. An array of unsymmetrically substituted PDIs have been prepared. We have found that unsymmetric tuning could have profound influence on the phase structure of PDIs in the condensed phases.
