Glove Positioning
Left to center
Pocket open

4. INFIELD PLAY Footwork when Fielding Feet must be level
Never cross feet
Stay on ball of feet
Read the hop
Field ball on glove hand, with body centered

5. INFIELD PLAY Footwork when throwing Front foot pointing to first base
Follow through – follow the baseball

6. INFIELD PLAY
Double plays – middle infielders (talk with each other on where I want ball on DP to handle better)
SS – Proper footwork when throwing to 2nd, chest facing 2B bag (pic signs from catcher)
2B – Proper footwork when throwing to second
LF/RF from back of bag, cross bag, tag throw behind bag
Proper flip to 2B from 2nd baseman
Proper footwork when turning double play
3B short jab step to 2nd – velo the ball on DP

7. INFIELD PLAY Backhand Play
Footwork – BEND!! Glove never goes forward, thumb down
