(A) The closed scissors is passed in the right uterine hemicavity until it meets the resistance of the fundus. The mark is placed on the scissors at the level of the external os denoting the depth the uterine cavity. (B) On the closed scissors at the lower edge of the septum here another mark is placed on the scissors denoting the length of the septum. (C) The closed scissors is then passed through the left hemicavity until its fundus is gently pressed against fundus. (D) The scissors now is directed toward the lower edge with one blade in each hemicavity (ready for cutting).
