6. IOP Director’s Internships
IOP LOCATIONS:
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Instituto Igarapé: Independent think & do tank devoted to evidence-based policy and action on complex security, justice and development challenges in Brazil, Latin America, and Africa. Based in the South, the Institute undertakes diagnostics, generates awareness, and co-designs solutions with public and private partners, often with the use of new technologies.
Santiago, Chile Ministerio de Hacienda (Dept. of Treasury): Mission is to maximize the potential of long-term growth for the economy with better use of productive resources in the country. This aims to achieve a better quality of life for all Chileans, especially the most neglected and vulnerable areas.
México City, México Comisión Nacional de Búsqueda: Offers centralized governmental support to those who are searching for desaparecidos, Mexico’s missing. Works closely with family members of those who've disappeared, other local/state search commissions, other governmental institutions, as well as international bodies.

The Office of Career Services (OCS) offers funding opportunities for eligible undergraduates

11. How to Apply All DRCLAS programs use the same application
CARAT for undergraduate & graduate students (check title for level)
Students fill out ONE application, regardless of how many programs to which they apply (max of 3)

Students must upload the additional Supplemental Coversheet (see website for step-by-step process)
Students must interview in Spanish/Portuguese with program managers February
