1. Spelling Word Sorts
Task: Choose a set of CVC words. Use paper or small whiteboards to create the words letter by letter. Export it as a movie. Create a short animation for at least 10 words

2. Digestive System
Task: Using the diagram and some play dough create a stop motion animation showing how food passes through the digestive system.

4. Mystery Photo book
Task: Use the camera and the microscope to take a series of photos. Think of a theme like a colour, or fabrics or different parts of the body. Create a book with the mystery photo on one page and the full version photo on the next page.

Extension: Include audio instructions and details for each picture in your book

5. Life cycles
Task: Find or create (try drawing some simple pictures) a series of photos and put them into iMovie to create a movie showing a lifecycle of a plant, animal or even a human

6. Story time
Task: Use the lego/dinosaurs/characters and the green screen to record a stop motion movie in iMotion. Then use the Green Screen app to combine your green screen with a background picture/movie.

Extension: Export the combined green screen movie to the camera roll, import into iMovie and add titles and a sound track.

7. Narrative retell
Task: Choose a fairy tale. Find a series of pictures of the characters and settings. Use the app Puppet Pals to create a movie retelling your fairy tale.

Extension: Break the story into a series of small movies. Import them into Book Creator and write the narrative that would accompany the movie.

8. Picture Book
Task: Find a series of photos about a topic, eg “A book about me.” Using the app Book Creator, add the photos onto each page, make them large like a picture book. Add text and audio onto each page so it is narrated for independent use by young students.

Extension: Edit photos using Pic Collage or other apps prior to adding them onto each page.
