The concept of a Christian society is to be inclusive – we are called to treat one another equally.
Jesus calls us to be inclusive – the opposite of hatred
Being inclusive means seeing beyond surface differences and seeing our connections with all other people

Seeing God in others
Accepting others

Accommodating for inequities and differences

5. Inclusivity Leads To Peace
When we hate another person, we separate ourselves entirely from that person.
Hatred focuses on things that make us different and ignore things that should draw us together.
Inclusivity involves seeing beyond surface diferences and seeing our connectedness to others.

6. Sometimes we divide ourselves into groups: “ingroup” and “outgroup” or “us” and “them”
Dividing into groups rooted in hatred can lead to violence
Physical, mental, or emotional torture of another shows a lack of respect for human dignity
