2 Surah Az-Zalzalah In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake And the earth discharges its burdens And man says, “What is (wrong) with it?” That day, it will report its news Because you Lord has commanded it. That Day, the people will depart separated (into categories) to be shown (the result of) their deeds.

3 So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it,
And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it.

4 Lessons from Surah Az-Zalzalah
Illustrates the intensity and how severe the Last Day will be. Allah s.w.t. has commanded earth to shudder and throw up all its contents become shattered and in chaos. Man will be in confusion with this occurrence (i.e. destruction of earth) After that event occurred, man will be resurrected to have their deeds counted Those who did good even an atom’s weight will be rewarded Those who commit a sin even an atom’s weight will be punished

5 Reason Behind The Revelation
Ayah 7-8: Narrated by Ibnu Abi Hatim obtained from Sa'id bin Jubair when the eighth ayah was from Surah al-Insan was revealed "and they feed what they love the poor, orphans and the prisoners" the Muslimin assume that those who give alms though little would not be rewarded where as those who commit small sins like lying, gossiping, did not protect their gaze and everything else will not be punished. They also assumed that the threat of Hellfire from Allah is only for those who commit big sins. Thus the seventh and eighth ayah from surah az-Zalzalah were revealed to object such assumption.
