“There for by the deeds of the Law shall no flesh be justified…” Romans 3:19-22 summarizes the ineffectiveness of the works of the law for justification. Only FAITH concerning Jesus Christ is able to justify anyone today.

Salvation is ALWAYS by FAITH alone in Christ’s finished work alone.

Romans 1:16-17 God’s righteousness is revealed out of an ACT OF FAITH - in the gospel for initial salvation into a LIFESTYLE OF FAITH - in God’s promises to NT believers for our present-tense salvation

“For we are HIS workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which HE hath prepared beforehand that we should walk in them”
The purpose of walking by faith is to produce the good works of Ephesians 2:10
