What is data? Any pieces of information that we get by experimenting

What is a controlled experiment?
Compares the results of a control group with the results from an experimental group *All factors stay the same except for 1.*

What is a variable? The factor that changes

SUMMARY In a controlled experiment all factors remain the same except one. The factor that changes is called the variable. We do a controlled experiment to test our hypothesis. Data is pieces of information. Results can be analyzed using tables and graphs. Your conclusion either supports or does not support your hypothesis.
