A MOMENT OF PRAYER

2. I REMEMBER
that I am baptised in the name of the Father who calls me in the name of the Son who saves me and in the name of the Holy Spirit who dwells in me

3. for the wonder of my being.
I RECALL
These words of scripture
It was you
who created my being
knit me together
in my mother’s womb.
I thank you
for the wonder of my being.

4. I REFLECT On the creativity of God
When I reflect on how God created me what do I give thanks for?
On the wonder of BEING A CHILD OF GOD
What makes me grateful about being a baptised child of God?

5. I RESPOND
As I continue my Lenten journey with you Lord, help me to be more aware of the wonder of life. Fill my heart with gratitude for all that is. Give me a deep sense of my identity as your son or daughter. Help me to live each day remembering that You are with me.

6. I RENEW
My commitment to follow you Lord with a grateful heart. Remembering that you created me, and that you are calling me to live as your son or daughter.
