1 Elucidating a Lipidomic and Metabolomic Signature of Gvhd in Recipients of Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplants  Daniel Contaifer, Catherine H. Roberts, Urszula Warncke, Ramesh Natarajan, Bernard J. 2 Figure 1 The differential response of the lipidome and the metabolome predict the outcome of bone marrow transplant. The plasma lipidome of bone marrow transplant patients were subjected to untargeted lipidomic and metabolomic analysis to identify the contribution of the polyunsaturated lipid content and the metabolome towards the onset of GVHD. The data reveal a strong prevalence for lipids and metabolites involved in inflammation to be predictors of GVHD in BMT patients. AUTO = Patients who underwent autologous BMT. YES = Patients who underwent allogenic BMT and ultimately developed GVHD. NO = Patients who underwent allogenic BMT and did not develop GVHD.
