2 Figure 1 Inflammation Induced Open Chromatin in EpSCs Remains for Several Months and Influences Gene Expression and Wound Healing Capabilities Mouse EpSCs were exposed to IMQ, a TLR7 ligand, which resulted in the establishment of more than 40,000 open chromatin (naked DNA) regions within 6 days. About 2,000 regions remained open for longer than 30 days, and facilitated a faster transcriptional response for about 50% of all genes induced by wounding on day 180.
