portable 3-hole punch
one subject notebook (geography journal to be kept in class)
pencils (mandatory for map work)
hand held pencil sharpener with cover
blue or black pens (optional if preferred over pencils for note taking)
colored pencils or crayons (for map work-we tend to use more green, blue and brown)
positive attitude/ good effort

There are NO retakes on quizzes or tests
The student may turn in homework assignments late for ½ credit.
No name on work = No credit….it can be resubmitted late for ½ credit.

5. If absent from geography class?
It is the student’s responsibility to obtain and complete work they have missed.

Also, students should make arrangements to stay after school to complete any quizzes or tests, and to receive clarification on instruction if necessary.

6.  Current Events
PLEASE talk with your child/children about what is going on in the world today. Don't be afraid to reference a map or atlas. It is a great opportunity to learn from each other!!
