Homework & Tests Homework: Week of January 28: pg : ”Unit 6 Review” Checkpoint Quizzes: February 8: 7’s Multiplication Facts Unit 6 Assessment: Feb. 8th: Covers all standards and skills covered in Unit 6 (including multiplication, division, Line plots, data, and fractions) Math 4.OA.3 Solve multi-step story problems involving only whole numbers, using addition and division. 4.OA.3 Solve multi-step story problems involving division with remainders. 4.NBT.5: Use equations or rectangular arrays to explain strategies for multiplying with multi-digit numbers 4.NBT.6: Divide a 2-digit number by a 1-digit number, using strategies based on place value, the properties of operations, or the relationship between multiplication and division 4.NBT.6: Use equations or rectangular arrays to explain strategies for dividing a multi-digit number by a 1-digit number 4.MD.2: Use diagrams to represent measurement quantities. 4.MD.4: Make a line plot to display a data set comprising measurements taken in fourths of a unit. Important Dates All homework will be assigned at the beginning of each week (Monday) and will be due the Friday of the same week at 8 a.m February 14th: Valentine’s Day party 1:00-2:00- **Please ensure you have signed up to bring a treat! February 18th: School Holiday February 26th: Field Trip Reminders: Parent Data Night will be on Monday, February 4. Official progress reports and data progress will be sent home Tuesday, February 5 for those who do not attend. Please sign and return by the following Wednesday.
