What's been happening?
In the month of February FRC participated in a movement called The Choose Love Movement. The children really enjoyed learning about and practicing what it takes to choose love. Most importantly they made a promise to use courage everyday, have an attitude of gratitude, learned to forgive and let go, and to show compassion in action. I will send home their Choose Love Journals beginning March 3rd. Students recorded what they’ve learned about choosing love in their journals or just how they were feeling that day. We are now full of courage, gratitude, forgiveness, and compassion. We now know how to choose love all the time! When we follow our formula and choose love, we are strongly connected and our FRC is a safe, happy place for all of us to learn and grow.

Reminders
Please continue to pack your child with a winter coat & gear. We will still be going outside daily!
If your child will not be attending FRC on a certain day please send a note in for his/her teacher and let Miss Emily know via or phone

INCLEMENT WEATHER PROCEDURES
A reminder of the procedures for school closing and delays.
If school is closed, FRC is closed
If school is delayed 90 mins, FRC AM care opens 8:30 am
If school is delayed 2 hours FRC AM care opens 9:00 am
*There will be no breakfast on mornings with a delay.
EARLY DISMISSAL
If there is an early dismissal you will need to pick up your child at the early dismissal time (1:40). The pick-up line forms on Merrick Drive.
If you wish to send your child home on the bus, your child must have a bus number, and have taken the bus before. You must call to notify the main office and their teacher and Miss Emily to let us know they will be taking the bus.
If your child attends FRC M-F they will not be able to take the bus home as they are not a stop on the bus route. They will need to be picked up from school at dismissal time.
You will find a packet with these procedures outlined next to the parent board.
Re-enrollment
All currently enrolled families will receive a re-enrollment packet for next school year starting on Friday, March 1st.
I will be hand delivering your packet to you, they will not be sent home.
If your child does not attend Friday, March 1st, you will receive your packet the next time you drop-off/pick-up your child.
The deadline to return your packet is Monday, April 1st.
