Putting on a Yoke Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG) “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

We should not make it difficult for people to turn to God!
What we are yoked to is easy and light 2 Corinthians 5:19b-21 (NIV) 19 …He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

We should not make it difficult for people to turn to God!
Making it ‘easy’ doesn’t mean watering it down or cheapening it A relationship with God ALWAYS produces holiness Man’s imposing of the Law NEVER produces holiness Our task at the onset is to make sure God is the one that initiates transformation, not us It’s not often you catch a cleaned fish!

The Holy Spirit appoints leaders in every church (including adoption, teaching, and refuting of doctrine) Men without the leaders’ authorization (v. 24) began to trouble new believers by what they were teaching Proverbs 11:14 (NKJV) Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.
