Matter mAtters

Matter Matter makes everything in this universe and comes in so many different odours, densities, colours, sizes, texture, viscosity, and states. Liquid gas and solid. Everything is made of matter. Matter is made from atoms and molecules which are made from electrons protons and neutrons.

Chemical change Chemical change is a change that can not be reversed. For example you cannot un-burn a fire. At the molecular level chemical change is when a bond(s) is made or broken between two or more atoms.

KMT KMT or kinetic molecular theory. Is about how everything is made of particles and those particles are always in motion. The more energy particles have the further apart they get from each other and faster they move. The energy that makes the particles move can be related to pressure, temperature, and volume. Gases have the highest energy over liquid and solid because the particles are moving the fastest and farthest apart. Solids have the lowest energy level because the particles and close together and barely moving. Liquids are in the middle

States of matter There are three types of matter. Solid, liquid, and gas. Gases are made of particles that are so packed with energy that they spread so far apart so quickly that they are no longer visible to the naked eye. Solids are particles tightly packed together that vibrate to make an object. Liquids are also particles tightly packed together but instead of vibrating in place to make an object they take the shape of whatever is containing them in place. Ex water in a jar takes the shape of the jar but solids will not take the shape of the jar, not everything fits under these categories though. For example Oobleck is none of these because it is a non – Newtonian fluid. But most things will take the shape of a gas, liquid, or solid.

Physical change Physical change is represented with the diagram shown above There are three types of matter and everything can change into anything so there are six types of physical change. The six types of changes are condensation, evaporation, freezing, melting, republication, and sublimation. I guarantee that you have seen an ice cube melt before. Bam that's an example of melting. You have probably also seen an ice cube before that's an example of freezing because it is just frozen water.
