3 Weight is defined as the force of gravity on an object
Weight is defined as the force of gravity on an object. Your weight can change if the force of gravity changes. Ex: lbs on Earth = 16.5 lbs on the moon (6x less gravity on the moon) Ex: kg on Earth = 100 kg on the moon (mass is not affected by gravity)
