6 The Christian Race is a Long Distance Race
24. Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize, so run to win! 25. All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. 26. So, I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. 27. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others, I myself might be disqualified. (1 Corinthians 9:24-27 NLT)

7 Winning The Race Requires:

11 Don’t Be Disqualified Live a holy life Exercise self-control

12 Galatians 5:7-10 NLT 7. You were running the race so well, who has hindered you back from following the truth? 8. It certainly isn’t God, for He is the one who called you to freedom. 9. This false teaching is like a little yeast that spreads through the whole batch of dough! 10. I’m trusting the Lord to keep you from believing false teaching , God will judge that person, whoever he is, who has been confusing you.
